Driver, formerly a producer of TV's America's Most Wanted, splices segments from his prison interviews of hit man Richard Kuklinski with the reminiscences of his wife, Barbara. Although he had asked doctors to make sure they revived him if he developed cardiopulmonary arrest (or risk of heart attack), his then-former wife Barbara had signed a "do not resuscitate" order. His career as a businessman had seen them transition from a life of endless bills and struggle to one of middle-class affluence. Even after they had their kids, Barbara said her husband alternated between the man who went to extreme lengths to provide for their family and the man who physically abused his wife before mentally abusing his children. He was home, like most fathers on Christmas Eve, putting together toys for his children. By no means was this a good family life or was he a good father.
